This will be our largest project in the country and our second hybrid solar and battery storage project in Australia.
The new facility will be located in the Fraser Coast region of Queensland and is set to become a benchmark project in the Australian market due to its size and hybrid configuration. The plant will integrate photovoltaic generation and storage capacity, a combination that will bring greater flexibility to the electricity system and will contribute to optimizing the management of the renewable energy generated.
Fraser Coast will also have a 10-year long-term power purchase agreement (PPA), which guarantees the long-term sale of the renewable electricity that the plant will produce. In addition, it reinforces the plant’s revenue visibility and highlights the attractiveness of our projects for large consumers committed to their decarbonization objectives.
The infrastructure is now entering the construction phase and is expected to start operating in 2028. Once operational, the plant will help strengthen our presence in Australia and boost the company’s international growth.

Renewable Momentum in Australia
In Australia, we have an operating portfolio of 1.3 GW, which includes six wind farms, two solar plants, our first global group storage facility (ATC Battery) and our first hybrid PV generation and battery storage project (Cunderdin).
In addition, our geographical presence is highly diversified in the country, with activity in the states of Western Australia, Victoria, New South Wales, the Australian Capital Territory and Queensland.
Our company maintains its focus on three key technologies: onshore wind, hybridization with solar plants and independent batteries, especially relevant solutions in a market marked by price volatility and grid restrictions, where storage and hybrid projects such as Fraser Coast are set to play an increasingly important role.
