The event, held on June 15 and 16 in Sydney, included activities, talks, strategic updates, experiences, and group dynamics, creating a very comprehensive space for connection and collaboration among teams. It brought together colleagues from all sites and offices across the country, as well as some guests who traveled from Spain to join the local team.
DAY 1: WELCOME, POWER HOURS, AND TEAM BUILDING ACTIVITY
Pedro Serrano, Director of GPG Australia, opened the annual event with a welcome speech in which he highlighted that the objective of the two days was to connect, reflect, and celebrate as a team all the achievements reached throughout the year, as well as to motivate the team for the second half of 2026.
He also welcomed the international guests and the new employees who have recently joined the organization.
Next, the Power Hours panel took place, moderated by Ricardo Alba, Director of People and Resources for Renewable Generation.
The panel included:

Gema Deus, Operations Director
Shaq Mohajerani, Development Director
Gustavo Fedelich, Chief Financial Officer
Pedro Serrano, Managing Director
The session was conducted in an open leadership conversation format, addressing the current business situation, the main challenges, and the company’s vision for the future.
The format included several rounds of questions among the speakers, as well as a final segment where attendees were able to ask their own questions directly to the leadership team.
In addition, attendees had the opportunity to engage directly with senior leaders during the event, also taking advantage of the presence of Francisco Bustio, CEO of GPG, and Alfonso Egaña, CFO, in an “Ask Your Leaders” session, which enabled an open and close dialogue with top management.
“The next two days are about three things: connecting, reflecting, and celebrating the people, the work, and the progress that have brought us to where we are today” – explained Pedro Serrano during the opening speech.

DAY 2: SYDNEY OPERA HOUSE TOUR, AWARDS CEREMONY ABOARD A SYDNEY HARBOUR FERRY, AND EVENT CLOSING
The second day began with a guided tour of the Sydney Opera House, where the team had the opportunity to explore the building from the inside and learn about its history, architecture, and cultural significance.
Afterwards, the group enjoyed lunch aboard a ferry on Sydney Harbour, in a unique setting that combined iconic city views with a relaxed atmosphere.
During the journey, there was a very special celebratory moment with music and dancing, as well as the presentation of recognition awards to nine outstanding colleagues this year, nominated by their peers for their attitude, commitment, and contribution to the team: Juana Muñoz, Kirsty Levings, Graham Young, Ramesh Gadugoyala, David Santo Tomás, Gema Deus, Haridian Fuentes, Link English, and Alfonso Monedero.
Congratulations to all!

The event concluded with closing remarks from Francisco Bustio, CEO of GPG, and Pedro Serrano, who thanked all attendees for their participation and reinforced the importance of teamwork, a strong sense of belonging, and the organization’s shared vision for the future.
“The work we are doing matters — for the company, for our communities, and for the planet,” Pedro Serrano
The 2026 Annual Event has been a key opportunity to pause, connect, and strengthen our team spirit. Over these two days, we have shared our vision, strengthened relationships, and recognized the people who make our work possible every day.
