- A new on-site collector substation has been proposed, a ~7km 132kV transmission line and a 500kV switching station to connect the windfarm to the existing Mt Piper – Bannaby TransGrid’s 500KV transmission line.

Benefits & commitments
As part of the commitments associated with the Project, a Community Engagement and Benefit Sharing Plan will be implemented, specifically customised according to the community feedback. Our company is financially supporting the delivery of this plan by investing into the community over the life of the wind farm through key initiatives described below:
- Neighbour Benefit Program – to share economic benefits with the neighbours closest to the wind farm during the construction and operation phases
- Community Benefit Fund – to be implemented during the operation phase of the wind farm to develop priority local community projects
- Other Programs – to support local entrepreneurs to improve their capabilities such as leadership, etc
- Sponsorships & Donations – supporting business campaigns, organisations, events, etc locally
