On June 10 we held the first Community Information Day for the Tarrone Battery Project at Willatook Hall, proposing local residents and stakeholders to learn about the project and to engage directly with our team
The event was attended by representatives from GPG Australia, the developer and owner of the project and consultants responsible for developing the project’s environmental and management plans.
Their aim was to answer questions, provide project information, and discuss the planning and assessment process.
The Information Day attracted a strong and diverse turnout, with attendees representing a broad cross-section of stakeholders, including local landholders, community members, neighbouring residents, government representatives, and other interested parties.
The event provided a valuable forum for open discussion, where attendees could gain a better understanding of the project while offering feedback and raising matters of interest.
Conversations covered a range of topics, including project design, environmental management, construction planning, and ongoing community engagement.
GPG Australia thanked everyone who attended and contributed to the discussions.
The feedback we received during the Information Day will help inform the continued development of the project’s management plans and support the delivery of a project that reflects community values and expectations.
